Crafty sew and sew in Dorset

Welcome to my world of craft!

Present for my niece's 2nd birthday

A Chloe Owens inspired dolly for my niece! Floral fabric was from fabric land, and hand made with love tag came from mollie makes magazine.

Back in July this year my husband, daughter and I were baptised in the the sea at Sandbanks Beach, Dorset.

I made invitation cards for our friends and family.

I went to Hobby craft the other day and was drawn into the decoupage aisle – a new craft for me!!

I made this sweet picture of fairy princess castles and frogs for my daughter’s bedroom.

Cards, cards and more cards!

I have been making lots of cards recently for birthdays and thank you. I have added a selection below – most of the decorations are from Hobbycraft and an assortment of paper from Lidl.

I’m back!!!

Hi everyone

I’m back on wordpress!! Been really busy so not had chance to add anything for months…..i have been crafting though so have loads to add – mainly card making as that’s all I have had chance to make.

I have quite a few projects on the go and a new sewing machine (Hurrah!!) so can finish some of the others I have since May!

I have:

– A butterfly scarf kit to knit

– Emily Peacock tapestry (Yes, same two I had on the go months ago)

– Baby playmat/bag (my friend has gone into hospital today to have the baby I made this for – some pressure now to finish it!!)
– Dolly for my niece (her birthday is tomorrow – more pressure)
– Bean bag cover for a friend
– Dress for my daughter (pattern and fabric bought but not got any further)
I have finished somethings though!

– Two sports bags for kids to take to school

– Lots of cards

-Skeleton decoration

-Another lanyard

– Hand tapestry

I will start to add some photos of the above!
