Crafty sew and sew in Dorset

Welcome to my world of craft!

Paper Panda November

image

In between sewing I do quite a bit of paper cutting as it’s another quick results craft….. I am too impatient to complete crafts that take weeks to finish (that would explain my two half finished tapestries then!).

I ordered the paper panda November surprise download,  just £1 for a template.  In November I got a set of designs all similar to the one above but with different words including friends and family.

I made the family one above for a friend at work who was leaving. I think a personal hand made gift always has so much more meaning.

The rabbits design is a freebie from paper panda via http://www.craftbeautiful.co.uk.

I made this for friends who have just had a baby girl and have a three  year old son,  I thought it was a lovely image to represent sibling love.

Do any of you switch between crafts or do you stick to one main type?

Paper Panda Papercuts

image

I ordered some new goodies from Paper panda on Friday night and they arrived in Saturday morning.  So I decided that a rainy Sunday afternoon was the perfect time to have a go at some of the miniature templates I ordered…… An hour later and I have managed to cut out the five above.

Paper panda indicates that ikea sell mini frames perfect for these….. Not sure what I will do with them so a few friends might be getting some for christmas!!

Finished baby sampler

I finished the baby sampler last night and went to see my friend today to have a cuddle with her new born.  Always forget how tiny Newborn babies are….. So cute!

Baby sampler

Paperclip baby sampler started for a friend.  The owl design comes from the paper panda 🐼 book of paper cuts.

Then I used word on the computer to create the letters,  reversed the words by tracing through the paper and then photo copied onto card.

I’ll add the finished picture this week 🙂
